Savić Farmhouse Gallery
Neštin, Vojvodina
This dwelling has the individual character of sitting back from the street and has a sloping topography around it that is unusual for the region. Most dwellings of this period are on more level ground, are much closer together and often share a wall connection with their neighbors; as one of the older dwellings of the area it does not sit on a narrow deep lot normally found.
The stone base of the porch serves as a retaining wall for the porch; however, the 1966 survey drawings indicate the cantilevered corner of the porch previously was resting on a plastered stone base.
