Ibrahim Bankoglu seaside mansion
Vaniköy, Üsküdar, Turkey
Located in Vaniköy, a neighborhood in the Üsküdar district on the Asian side of the Bosphorus, this wooden yalı was built by the Ottoman ambassador to Vienna. It is distinguished by the separate tower structure adjacent to the house, which seems to imitate the towers of the nearby Cavalry Barracks (Kuleli Military School).
