Manastir Sv. Arhangel Mihailo, Konak from church porch
Varoš, Macedonia
The konak is sited on a steep slope, buttressed by stone retaining walls. White-rendered consoles support the projecting bays on both sides of the chardak, while the minsofe, its columns, and roof are supported by two substantial brackets tied into the masonry wall below.
