Kuќata na Jordan Hadži Konstantinov-Džinot, view from the čardak
Veles, Macedonia
View of the minsofa and the distant hills beyond. The stairs lead to the porch (trem) below. The narrow columns appear to support the more substantial white beams and wooden bolsters above. The white plaster, covering the beams and bolsters, conceals how large and solid the wooden bolsters are that support the extended roofs. The turned wooden balusters that form the stair, čardak, and minsofa rails give the space a great openness.
