19th century Kuќa at ulica Nikola Gurović 11, view from gate
Kruševo, Macedonia
This kuќa, also known as the Gurković House, is noted for its refined proportions and stepped facade. The ground level contains three storage rooms (ќevar) and an interior stair to the intermediate level. The intermediate level is reached by an exterior stair allowing one to enter a čardak with doorways to three living rooms (odaja) each with a fire place. The uppermost level is reached by an interior stair to its central čardak. This level has one large guest room (gostinska odaja) on the west side of the čardak and two other rooms on the east side.
