Junik, Kosovo
This courtyard view of the kula shows the entrance gate and the masonry wall construction, with cut stone used to reinforce corners and opening surrounds, as well as the projecting bay at the top level. An infilled doorway once was used for entry to the upper living floors, formerly reached by an exterior stair.
