Kuća Redžepa Hadži Islami, 19th century, currently an Ethnographic Museum
Đakovica (Gjakova), Kosovo
The house of Rexhep Haxhi Islami (in Albanian) was built in 1830 for a prosperous resident. Largely symmetrical in composition, the house has projecting bays with chardak spaces within, overlooking the ample walled garden. Restorations have been completed for this museum house.
