Traditional Wooden Granary (Ambar)
Sedlarica, Croatia
Sedlarica is a small Slavonian town in a lush agricultural valley paralleling the Drava River. This granary is typical outbuilding in traditional farmsteads, built to protect stored grains or corn (or other farm produce) while ensuring air circulation (note the vertical wooden grille). The small door beside the central doorway suggests a specific access need. The wood frame construction is embellished with ripple-cut braces.
