Small Dwelling
Gušče, Croatia
This smaller timber dwelling has the same ordering system of the large traditional building in this region. The use of cross walls aids in stablizing the simple plank structure. In this house the flush corner lock joints and treatment of doorways show the mortising work that is incorporated into the construction of the building. The dwelling was occupied by a family in 1988.
