Dimiter Georgiadi kăšta from Ul. Tsanko Lavrenov
Plovdiv, Bulgaria
The Georgiadi kăšta is a symetrical, baroque design of the late Revival period. It was completed in 1848 by Hadji Georgi, a builder from the Rhodope mountains. The house is located near other National Revival houses and the historic Hissar Gate. The street elevation faces southwest. Exterior decoration includes ornamental white plasterwork above window openings, in contrast with the ochre color of the painted walls. The building now houses part of the Plovdiv Historical Museum.
