Gloženski manastir (Glozhene monastery)

Seen from a higher vantage point along a path, the konak (residence) construction is more legible. This end of the structure has two levels framed in wood, with diagonal bracing and plank infill. Window openings fit between vertical posts. The roof is clad with rose-colored stone slabs.
