Drawings of Konak, upper level and south elevation
Stolac, Herzegovina
This konak served as a musafirhana, free lodgings for visitors to the Begovina. A stair leads to the upper level porch (hajat), an open-air space with raised sitting platform (jazluk/kamerija). The hajat opens to two rooms, on the right a chamber (odaja/halvat) with hearth (odžak) and on the left the larger ćošak, with projecting bay (doksat) and six windows overlooking the Bregava.
