This view, in the ženska (women's) divanhana, shows the raised kamerija and the windows of the čardak beyond. The čardak covers the araluk (passage) that provides access between the haremluk and selamluk. The divanhana and kamerija provide covered seating for the women and girls where they can work and enjoy the courtyard below. Detailed carvings on the column trim pieces and shaped spindle members of the railings increase the lightness and openness to the edge of the divanhana.
