Čardaklija view entry path

The čardaklija was still in active use when visited in 1988. The traditional dwelling does not have any indication of a chimney element or venting openings in the roof to vent smoke during the cooking of meals. There did not appear to be a separate cooking structure nearby. The fields were being tended. (photo 1988)
