Čardaklija side view with projecting element
Donja Koprivna, Bosnia
This side view reveals the projecting element (erker) that occurs at the center of the elevation. The lower metal roof covers an extension of the ground level interior that is faced with boarding. The simple shingled upper roof extension protects the projecting interior space. A half-round gutter below the metal roof diverts water run-off from an opening in the lower wall. (photo 1988)
