Çardak 2, in stepped vineyard
Üzümdere, Turkey
This çardak appears to be in relatively good condition, set within a garden of grapevines high above the village but below the towering mountainside. Four corner poles support cross members for the sitting platform and shade cover. Branches are interlaced with cross poles to form the cover. A low wooden railing surrounds the sitting platform, which is reached by a simple ladder.
