This corner shop with dwelling above shows features of traditional construction, with the lighter, wood-framed living floor extending outward above the street level. The symmetrical street elevation with balcony and gabled roof element gives distinction to this modest building. The dwelling sits on the corner of Ağaçlı Sokak across from the Şehadet Camii (Şehadet Mosque) built in the 14th century.
