Two Cell Wooden Kašča
Kamnik, Slovenia
In the open-air collection in Kamnik, this granary has two storage cells, as was more common in the 19th century, each cell with its own door opening. The squared planks of the walls (of oak or other high quality wood) meet at the exterior and cross-wall intersections in dovetail joints. The half-hipped roof is clad in dense straw thatch.
