Katića Kuća from doksat (čardak)
Trstenik, Serbia
The platforms of both of the doksats (čardaci) are raised two steps above the gallery floor, used for social gathering or outdoor tasks, with fine views of the garden. The house is mainly built of masonry, with timber frame for floors and roof, and these exterior elements. The house's yellow-colored coating obscures details of connections.
