In this view the construction of the čardak is more evident: the horizontal timber base with interlocked corner joints, and the whitewashed surfaces of the frame and infill system above, for the guest room area only. The single-story kuća can be seen beyond. Only prosperous farmers built guesthouses, as a space to house visiting pig traders.
