Wooden Chapel compound
Kućani, Serbia
The pastures that surround the chapel compound are actively used for the grazing of cattle. The chapel is small but has interior definitions of three major areas. The altar occurs at the eastern end of the chapel behind an iconostasis. One enters through along the long axis but a second door occurs on the north side of the chapel. The chapel is said to have no foundation but does sit on a stone base that follows the slope of the natural terrain.
