The entry porch and double doors are decorated with intricate wood carvings including a spiral motif around the arched opening and other edges. Incised patterns fill other surfaces. The doors are panelled below and open with grille-work above, decoratively fabricated. Even the roof shingles are decorative, each with a shaped bottom edge.
