Wooden and stone dwelling from below

Sited on a steep slope within the foliage of fruit trees, this Dinaric house has several windows in the dark log wall that faces the valley. A stone foundation encloses a storage cellar, the living level walls are formed with log and timber, the roof is framed with timber, and the steep hipped roof is clad in wooden shingles.
