Side of Straw Hut

This view provides additional details of the hut's roof construction, including the fence system surrounding (and restraining) its base. Also, wooden poles rest against the straw, another method for preventing wind or snow damage to the straw covering. The poles also discourage wandering livestock from eating the straw.
