Skopska Crna Gora village
Čučer, Macedonia
Čučer is a small farming village in the municipality of Čučer-Sandevo in north Macedonia near Skopje. The village sits on the southern face of Skopska Crna Gora, a small mountain range that separates Macedonia from Kosovo to the north. A large number of the older structures are constructed with low stone foundations with stone or soft brick walls forming the ground level interiors and lighter wood framed walls infilled with soft brick covered with plaster. Most dwellings have open čardak spaces on the uppermost level.
