This view of the Korab Mountains, that form the border between Macedonia and Albania, shows the dramatic landscape and the variations of gallery edge conditions created by the builders. The plasterwork, with window, open rail and window head trim, provides an intimate alcove at the gallery edge and added protection to the rooms beyond. The ridge of these mountains forms the actual border between the two countries.
