Stone & timber barn and ambar
Štrpce, Kosovo
In this rural settlement dwellings are interspersed with barns and other service structures built of stone and wood. In this structure, enclosed areas provide storage for equipment or animals, and the open second floor plus attic for hay storage (ambar). A covered bay protects farm vehicles.
