Prizren, Kosovo
Prizren (Prizreni) is a historic city in southern Kosovo. The house of Sheik Hasan (the last in a line of Sheiks beginning with Sheik Osman) sits in front of the Halveti Tekija established by Sheik Osman in the Saračane mahala. The house entry faces southeast with the tekija buildings against the northwest wall. The house was built in the 18th century; the tekija was formed in 1699. A hotel now occupies the area that was once a courtyard and garden for the dwelling.
