The divanhana bay (erker) is narrower than the hall from which it projects (see plan), leaving a curious gap and offset from the windows in wall below. A wooden beam extends across that gap as part of the support for the projecting bay. The larger windows of the upper floor suggest summer use, in contrast with the smaller openings of the lower floor.
