Kmetovce (Kmetoc), Kosovo
Kmetovce is a village in the municipality of Gnjilane, in eastern Kosovo. This building is a small house or outbuilding within a farmyard. Its tiny size and derelict condition is evidence of the relative simple farmlife that survives in this region. The ground level walls are of masonry and the upper of wood walls with a wooden roof structure and clay tile roof. The upper level porch provides a covered work area and the interior a place to live and/or store grain.
