Farm entry gate with bondruk and čerpić structures
Dolac, Kosovo
Dolac is a village in the Klina municipality of west-central Kosovo, and this farm compound shows traditional characteristics, the walled perimeter with entry gate, large farmhouse, and use of bondruk (wood frame & infill) and čerpić (adobe brick) construction techniques and materials. Clay tiled roofs of shallow pitch and extended eaves cover the dwelling and gateway, protecting the vulnerable wall surfaces.
