Stone stables
Vrontero, Greece
There are no large trees in this long settled, cleared, and rocky landscape so fences and roof frames are constructed with slender poles. The stables shown here are similar to those previously described. Larger stones appear to reinforce the corners of the walls. The fences control the animals from invading gardens to lunch on plants.
