Small Surviving Dwelling of the Upper City (Aνω Πoλισ)

Among the newly renovated and contemporary structures intended to maintain the traditional urban fabric, building morphologies and styles, it is possible to find remnants of original structures, such as the small one on the right, that have survived the upper city's many subsequent changes. Since the upper city has such a long history, it is impossible to expect that any one architectural historical period or expression be required as the model to follow.
