Dwelling 6 with projecting upper level
Ayios Germanos, Greece
This dwelling, at an intersection of streets, has an upper level that reaches over the wall to capture more space for the living spaces. The upper level was constructed using timber framing for the floor, walls, and roof. The enclosing walls are constructed with light framing infilled with light adobe brick with lath and a plaster coating. At the right a small part of the porch can be seen with its extended roof.
