Traditional Wooden Granary (Ambar) and Corncrib (Koš)
Selnica Podravska, Croatia
Selnica Podravska is northern Slavonian town on the Drava River. This farmyard structure combines functions, with two parallel corncribs flanking a storage space and supporting a shared roof. The right-hand corncrib is a traditional type constructed of woven branches while that on the left appears to be a more recent type, with a wooden frame in-filled with spaced vertical slats. The structure continues beyond the corncribs to incorporate other service functions.
