Wooden Dwelling (hiža) view under eave
Kumrovec, Croatia
This Staro Selo ethnopark dwelling is constructed of horizontal plank with a plaster coating, described in museum documents as 'mud and vitriol'. Projecting members at floor and eave levels are extensions of the cross beams that support the interior floor and the attic and roof structure. The house is identified as 'object 47', part of a typical Zagorije region farmstead.
