Aguševi Konaci (Aga's Konaks), view of lower level entry
Mogilica (Mogilitsa), Bulgaria
Thick stone masonry walls surround the complex at the ground level, with whitewashed timber frame and infill construction for the upper floors of the konaks. Dark wood framing articulates windows, bays and roof trim. The entrance archway is formed of dressed stone, and the corner tower is decorated with floral painting. The roofs are clad with stone slates and punctuated with chimneys.
