Begova kuća
Resulbegovića kuća
Trebinje, Herzegovina
The Resulbegovića kuća complex was constructed in the first quarter of the 18th century for the bey (Ottoman governor) of the district. Trebinje is located near the Adriatic coast and its architecture incorporates the masonry of the coast with wooden posts and beams, flooring, and decorated ceilings and cabinetry. The building complex included a family residence, guest konak, and courtyard; these were almost totally destroyed during the Bosnian war in the 1990s and the site was leveled.
