Omer-Begova Kuća
Jajce, Bosnia
This 17th-century house is typical of larger residences in Jajce during Ottoman times, and one of the first buildings encountered on arrival through the town's Travnik Gate. It was built with a tall masonry ground level and overhanging timber-framed upper level. The steep, hipped roof with flared eaves is characteristic of Dinaric mountain architecture. The fountain at its base would have served the residents of this neighborhood.
