Wooden Kozolec (traditional haydrying structure)
Majda (Mali) Hrib, Slovenia
This three-bay-long, toplar-type kozolec, in a hamlet near Motnik, is laden with drying hay. The crib appears full, and a cart is full of more. We visited during August, when the late summer harvests were in full swing. The old farmhouse, with a covered gallery, is visible beyond the long toplar.
