The gallery of the konak provides access to interior rooms, and at the upper level incorporates sitting areas that are partially enclosed by the arcaded porch surround. From these spaces one can enjoy a view of the church and flower gardens of the churchyard. A striking contrast is provided by the dark wood and whitewashed plasterwork.
