Stara Džamija, Wooden gallery of mosque
Plav, Montenegro
This mosque dates back to the 15th century and has an entry with an exterior gallery where women could pray separately. This view of the side shows how close other buildings were located in 1988. Restoration work was in progress at that time. The oldest panels in place had traditional construction details and decorative carvings.
