View of lintel detail of kuća 3 that occurs under the exterior stair landing. The apparent lintel for the small door is actually not a lintel but rather a wooden bolster block to provide more support for the beam above. Wooden bolsters are often carved with decorative patterns.
In heavy timber construction wooden bolster blocks are used to spread out the weight transfer from beam to column.
