Kuća compound (farm estate)
Sojevo (Sojevë), Kosovo
This large farm compound is near Sojevo (Sojevë), in the southern Kosovo municipality of Uroševac (Ferizaj). Access to the walled farmstead is through a covered gateway in a wall built of masonry and mud brick. A straight path leads to the house, a large symmetrical structure with central open porches (trem below and čardak above) at both of its two floors above ground. Gardens and various barns and outbuildings fill the yard.
