Dwelling courtyard entry with ambar above
Gornje Selo (Gornjasëlla), Kosovo
The narrow unpaved lanes of the village are lined with enclosed farm compounds and their gated entries. This entry combines a two leaf wooden gate and single leaf wooden door with an overhead granary framed and infilled in wood. The vertical diagonal members of the granary meet in a bold gesture above the entrance.
