Mogilica (Mogilitsa), Bulgaria
The Aguševi Konaci (Konaks of the Aga) are located in the village of Mogilica in the central Rhodope Mountains of southwest Bulgaria near Smoljan and the Greek border. The complex was constructed for Salih Aga, an Ottoman official, and his three sons in the mid-19th century as a summer residence. The complex has three residences, each with an open courtyard. Three local master craftsmen are credited with the construction of the complex.
