Kapinovski manastir (Kapinovo monastery)

The chardak is contiguous with the konak perimeter gallery and extends outward for better view of the garden and church (the church porch is visible within the greenery at the left). Within the elevated chardak is a raised sitting platform, at the time of this photograph furnished with table and benches. The chardak, located above the monastery entrance stair, presents a culmination of the arrival sequence and offers a pleasant space for greeting visitors and overlooking the church.
