Farm with kulla

Klos, Albania

Klos is a village in Lezhë County of eastern Albania, near Domgjon. The major settlement occurs in the highlands to the southeast. This two-story, stone, kulla-like house is a small farm along the banks of the Fan River. With window openings at both levels, it is less fortified than the true kullë in Albania's more remote highlands. The wood-shingled roof seems relatively intact.
