(Kikino House)

The Kikino House is an example of a single-tower kulla, and was built in 1825 in the Manalat neighborhood. A wing adjacent to the tower is topped by a semi-enclosed divan fronted by a prominent raised uncovered terrace. The house has no raised çardak but the open terrace provides an overlook to the landscape below. The current Kikino family works to maintain the remaining frescoes and ornamental wood and plaster work of this once-grand house.
